Mom and Dad took me to Mazury Lakes. We have sailed there for a week with Grandma Zosia and Aunt Marysia. Aunt Marysia wants to be called Aunt Mary, probably because
Mary is much easier to pronounce than
Marysia.
We have flown on a plane, then changed to another plane. Then we have met Grandma Ela and Aunt Marta. Then we boarded a train and finally rode a car. Very long journey. It seems to me that New Zealand is closer to home than Mazury, because we only had to fly two planes. No train, no car. And it took us one hour less to get there.
Grandma Zosia teaches me basics of sailing. Ropes and ties.
Our cabin had a top window. I loved to go through that window, crawl throughout the whole boat, come on the other side and repeat the whole adventure over again.
I try to keep my balance on a swinging boat.
I got my own wave runner!
That's our boat in the background. I am now looking at Grandma's dog, called Pumex.
Dad tied my wave runner to a boat, so I don't get lost on a lake.
Ahh, jumping up and down, that's what I like!
I was really interested in what she had to say.
I am learning the ropes...
Dad's taking the picture, but everyone else is present. OK, Pumex is downstairs, in the cabin.
Dad is taking a break from steering. I came to cheer him up!
I am learning to fly. Not really. I just fell from this stump and dad happened to take my picture while I am still in the air.
Mom, see, what a beautiful sunset!
Let's feed the swans while Pumex is not watching. He likes to bark at swans!
