A Day Visit To Callaway Gardens

Callaway Gardens are located 100 miles southwest of Atlanta, near Interstate I-185. They are mostly known for their azalea plantations. They host a wide variety of azaleas, both native and foreign. In the spring, at the beginning of April they bloom creating a color feast for the eyes. See for yourself. My pictures are below the flowers, and just a reminder that you can click on a small picture to see the bigger one.

Grandma Elzbieta holds me in her arms.

Why is it so bright? And so hot? I think the spring has finally come.

We have visited the Cecil B. Day Butterfly Center. There was plenty of butterflies in there. Maybe I can meet one somehow?

And there we are! One brave butterfly came to know me intimately!

We are resting in the Callaway Brothers Azalea Bowl. I like those azaleas!

The best place to be - in my grandma arms.

Let them stare into the camera, but I saw the lizard moving so fast, that I could barely see it!
